Bartlett Graves and his brothers Brents and William Day were partners in a business known as The Dickinson Brothers. They sold wholesale groceries, building supplies, and owned the ice plant and the water & electric utilities in Glasgow. When I was working at the State Health Department getting ready to visit the Glasgow water plant, I first looked back at the records in the file concerning the Glasgow water works. This is when I first discovered that Bartlett Graves had signed the test results of the water plant in Glasgow and was the man in charge. My interest in water treatment must be in my genes.
