Mildred Ann Anderson (Grangy to her grandchildren), daughter of Mary Francis Carter and Samuel Anderson, was born November 10, 1876. She lived in the Beaver Creek Church community about three miles south of Beckton. Her father died when when she was six weeks old.
Millie attended the Mount Ayr School near her home. She and her family attended the Beaver Creek Baptist Church. She and Henry Malcolm Holman were married December 27, 1903. Their children were:

Mildred Ann Anderson Holman died 6/22/1959, buried in Glasgow Cemetery.
